Abernanti Herd - Pedigree Limousin

The Abernanti Herd of Pedigree Limousin Cattle was established in 2011.

Stock was purchased from local Herds, Deri, Cowin and Mynach. Followed by a Stock Bull ‘Miscombe Ulande’ sired by Genial, dam sire Broadmeadows Canon. He was selected for his shape, character and ease of calving.

Whilst the herd was expanding and daughters being retained off Miscombe Ulande a new stock bull was needed. A French Import bull ‘Abbe’ sired by Mas du Clo was the second Stock Bull purchased from a local herd dispersal. He was selected for his great length and depth as the aim was to produce larger framed cattle.

Again with Abbe’s daughters being retained, an exciting new addition to the Herd is a Young Stock Bull, Goldies Lawyer. He was an embryo calf sired by Ampertine Gigolo.

The Abernanti Herd is a member of the Premium Cattle Health Scheme.

The aim is to produce Top Quality Stock Bulls and Females. All Bulls are Health and fertility checked and leptospirosis and BVD vaccinated for buyer’s convenience.
